Photo capture questions enable respondents to take a picture or upload an existing image from their phone library. The question text is limited to 150 characters; a counter shows the number of remaining characters available.
Question text will appear above the image placeholder and the extended question text below.
Instructions can be added if you want to show any additional information to the respondent when they click Tap to take/upload, before they go on to take/choose a photo to submit.

Small: 640 pixels, file size approximately 100KB. Recommended for projects where the response data upload needs to be kept at minimum. Medium: 1280 pixels, file size approximately 400KB. Suitable for the majority of projects. Large: original image size, file size depends on image size. Recommended for projects requiring high resolution images, e.g. when OCR or image recognition needs to be performed on them. |
| Optional response | By default, the question must be answered by the respondent, but you can make it optional by selecting this option. The next button is enabled as soon as the question is presented. |
| Prevent accessing the photo gallery | By default, the user can choose between uploading a photo from their phone gallery or capturing a new photo with the phone camera. With this option enabled the user is restricted to submitting new photos only. |
| Disable back button | Prevents the respondent from going back to previous question. |

Always show - Next button is shown right away. Delay for - Allows delaying of the Next button so it appears 'X' seconds after arriving at the question. |
