The video capture question type allows respondents to capture a moment or record a video of a specific event. It allows the respondent to record a video of a set length, up to two minutes maximum. For example, respondents can capture a video of their first impression after tasting/trying a new product. The question text is limited to 150 characters; a counter shows the number of remaining characters available. The majority of devices will allow the respondent to switch between rear facing and front facing cameras once they 'tap to record' in the question.
The maximum length of the video is calculated in seconds, as defined in video max length (sec). If this field is left empty, the maximum video length defaults to the maximum allowed length of 120 seconds (two minutes). The format returned will be .mov (from iOS devices) or .3gp (from Android devices).
