About multiple open numeric questions
A multiple open numeric question allows you to ask multiple numeric questions on the same screen; each question is reported separately. Each choice you add becomes a new numeric question on the screen.
The various options for multiple open numeric questions are described below. Once you have finished creating or editing your question, you will need to save it to continue editing your project. To do so, simply click done.
Working with questions
To add a numeric question to the screen, simply type the question text in new choice text. The numeric question is created automatically.
Tip: When entering several texts, you can save time by pressing the TAB key after typing each text; this takes you instantly to the new choice text box, where you can add another text. In this way, you can keep typing texts, and hitting TAB to quickly add the entire set of texts.
To edit a question text, simply click in the text, and make changes as required.
Tip: You can also enter texts even more rapidly by clicking quick entry. This presents the texts in a box, where you can enter each text on a separate line (type a hard return after each text to begin a new line). You can also use this mode to paste in a response list from an external document. To return to the standard way of entering choices, and reveal the response choice texts, such as anchoring, click manual entry.
To delete a question, click remove (x) to the right of the question text.
You can change the order in which the questions are presented. To do so, click the "handle" to the left of the question and drag and drop it to a new position in the list.
Working with categories
If you wish to separate the numeric questions into categories, click add category and specify a name. You can then add new questions underneath, or drag and drop questions into the category. You can also rearrange the order of these choices within the XML.
Question options

| Total target value | The sum of all responses entered on the screen has to equal this value. |
| Number type |
Integer: collects a whole number. For example, this is useful when you want to collect the age of the respondent, as in the example below. The default range of an integer response is 0 to 2,147,483,647. If you want to collect a telephone number, consider using an open text question. Decimal: collects a number that may include a decimal point. For example, this is useful when you want to collect price or percentage information. The default range is -2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,64. |
| Decimal places | Amount of decimals allowed when Number type is set to Decimal. |
| Top label | Label which will be shown within brackets after the question text. |
| Optional response | By default, the question must be answered by the respondent, but you can make it optional by selecting this option. The next button is enabled as soon as the question is presented. |
| Disable back button | Prevents the respondent from going back to previous question. |

Always show - Next button is shown right away. Delay for - Allows delaying of the Next button so it appears 'X' seconds after arriving at the question. |
