Barcode scanner questions allow respondents to scan a barcode via the camera on their device. The question type will enable the device's camera function, and it will auto-focus on the barcode presented.
Once the barcode is detected, the respondent will see the scanned code on the screen and scan it again if necessary.
The back button can be disabled on this question so that respondents can no longer go back to previous questions.
The barcode question is always optional to allow respondents to proceed to the next question in case the barcode cannot be scanned.
