About respondent lists
To invite respondents to your QMob project, you need to set up at least one respondent list which will contain the contact details of the respondents. To define and manage respondent lists, at the top of the screen click Panels.
Adding respondent lists
To add a new respondent list:
- Click Panels at the top of the page.
- Click Add panel, fill in a name and click Add. (If you already have a suitable panel folder you can skip this step).
- Then, click Add list.
- In Name, type a name for your list.
- In Default language, select the language that will be used for this list; this language will be used where possible for projects assigned to respondents in this list. For more details, see translating your project.
- In Add to panel, select the panel you would like to add this list to.
- If this list contains members of your team, for the purposes of testing projects, select set as preview list.

Adding a preview list (for survey testing)
A preview list is a special respondent list where the "respondents" in it are actually people who will be testing the survey. Adding a preview list is very similar to adding a normal respondent list. The only difference is that you select the option set as preview list when creating the list.
Exporting respondents
You can also export the list of respondents. For details on how to import respondents in bulk, see importing respondents.
To export a respondent list:
- Ensure you have the respondent list open (found under Panels at the top of the screen).
- At the top of the screen click export list.
- Follow the instructions in your browser to save the file. The respondent list is saved as a comma-separated (CSV) file.
